Connect Your Wallet
Before you can trade through HyperSync, you need to connect your Hyperliquid wallet. This gives HyperSync permission to place trades on your behalf.
Important: HyperSync only needs trading permissions. It will never have access to withdraw your funds.
What You Need
A Hyperliquid account — Sign up at hyperliquid.xyz
An API key or Agent wallet — Created from Hyperliquid's settings
If you're new to Hyperliquid, we recommend starting on testnet to practice with fake funds before using real money.
How to Connect
Go to Wallets from the sidebar menu
Click Connect Wallet
Choose your connection method:
Using an API Key
On Hyperliquid, go to Settings > API
Click Generate API Key
Enable trading permissions
Disable withdrawal permissions (critical for safety)
Copy the API Key and API Secret
Back in HyperSync, paste both values
Give your wallet a label (e.g., "Main Trading")
Click Connect
Using an Agent Wallet
On Hyperliquid, go to Settings > API
Click Create Agent Wallet
Save the private key securely
Back in HyperSync, paste the private key and your main wallet address
Give it a label
Click Connect
Verify Connection
After connecting, your wallet page will show:
Total Equity — Your account value
Free Margin — Available margin for new trades
Open Positions — Number of active trades
Balances update automatically every few minutes.
Multiple Wallets
You can connect multiple wallets and assign them to different features:
One wallet for copy trading
One wallet for strategy execution
One wallet for TradingView signals
This lets you isolate risk across different trading approaches.
We Recommend Starting on Testnet
Practice with testnet funds before risking real money:
Get testnet funds from the Hyperliquid testnet faucet
Connect a testnet wallet to HyperSync
Try copy trading, strategies, and signals
Once comfortable, switch to a mainnet wallet
Next Steps
Once your wallet is connected, you're ready to start trading:
Copy Trading — Follow top traders
Strategy Builder — Build automated strategies
TradingView Signals — Execute alerts automatically
