User-Level Risk Settings

These apply globally to your account across all trading methods.

Max Daily Loss	5%	1% - 50%	Maximum percentage loss allowed per day
Max Drawdown	20%	5% - 50%	Maximum drawdown from peak equity
Liquidation Buffer	25%	10% - 50%	Minimum distance to liquidation price
Max Open Positions	10	1 - 50	Maximum concurrent open positions

Copy Trading Risk Parameters

These are set per-leader.

Risk Multiplier	1.0x	0.1x - 3.0x	Scales the leader's risk % up or down
Max Leverage	10x	1x - 50x	Leverage cap for this leader's copy trades
Allocation	100%	1% - 100%	% of your equity allocated to this leader
Max Position Size	(none)	$1 - ∞	Absolute cap on any single position size

How Parameters Interact

Risk validation uses the most restrictive parameter:

  User max leverage:     20x
  Strategy max leverage: 10x
  Copy leader leverage:  50x (what the leader actually uses)

  Result: Trade capped at 10x (most restrictive)
