Troubleshooting Signals
Common Issues
Signal Not Received
Symptom: TradingView alert fires but nothing appears in HyperSync signal history.
Checklist:
Webhook URL correct? — Double-check the URL on your Signals page matches what you pasted in TradingView
HTTPS required — TradingView only sends webhooks to HTTPS URLs
JSON valid? — Invalid JSON in the alert message will be silently dropped. Use a JSON validator to check your message format
TradingView plan — Webhook alerts require a paid TradingView plan (Plus or higher)
Alert active? — Make sure your TradingView alert hasn't expired or been paused
Signal Received but Not Executed
Symptom: Signal appears in history with status "No Match" or "Rejected".
No Match
No active subscription matches the signal
Create a subscription that matches the symbol and/or strategy name
Below Confidence
Signal confidence is below your threshold
Lower the minimum confidence on your subscription, or increase the confidence value in your alert
Risk Rejected
Failed risk validation
Check the Risk Dashboard to see the specific reason
No Wallet
No wallet connected
Connect a Hyperliquid wallet on the Wallets page
Insufficient Margin
Not enough free margin
Reduce position size or add funds to your Hyperliquid account
Invalid Token Error
Symptom: Signal shows an authentication error.
Fixes:
Verify your token matches exactly what's shown on the Signals page
Ensure the
secretfield is included in the JSON payloadCheck for extra whitespace or quotes around the token
Regenerate your token if needed (this invalidates the old one)
Duplicate Signals
Symptom: Same trade executed multiple times.
Fixes:
In TradingView, set the alert trigger to "Once Per Bar Close" instead of "Every Time"
In your Pine Script, use
alert.freq_once_per_bar_closeto prevent multiple alerts per candleInclude a unique
signalIdin your JSON payload — HyperSync won't process the same ID twice
Wrong Position Size
Symptom: Trade executes but position size is different than expected.
Check:
Your wallet balance — position size is calculated based on your equity
Risk parameters in your settings
The Risk Dashboard — the Risk Engine may have resized the trade to stay within your limits
Delayed Execution
Symptom: Signal received but trade takes longer than expected.
Possible causes:
High volume of signals being processed simultaneously
Temporary network issues with Hyperliquid
Your Hyperliquid API key may need regenerating
If delays persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet.
