AI-Powered Strategy Generation
Overview
Don't know where to start? Describe your trading idea in plain English, and HyperSync's AI will generate a complete strategy configuration for you.
Requires: An
XAI_API_KEYin your backend environment variables.
How to Use
Step 1: Open the AI Generator
Navigate to Strategies > Create New > Generate with AI (/dashboard/strategies/create).
Step 2: Describe Your Strategy
Type a natural language description of your trading idea. Be as specific as you can:
Good descriptions:
"I want a BTC strategy that buys when RSI is oversold below 30 and the price is above the 200 SMA. Take profit at 5% and stop loss at 2%. Risk 3% per trade, max 10x leverage."
"Create a momentum strategy for ETH that enters long when MACD crosses above the signal line and RSI is above 50. Exit when RSI goes above 70 or stop loss at 3%."
"Build a mean reversion strategy that buys the dip on BTC using Bollinger Bands and RSI. Conservative risk — 1% per trade, 5x max leverage."
Vague descriptions (still work, but AI will make assumptions):
"Make me a BTC trading strategy" — AI will generate something reasonable but generic.
Step 3: Review the Generated Strategy
The AI returns a complete strategy configuration:
Symbol and direction
Entry conditions with indicators and parameters
Exit conditions with take profit and stop loss
Risk parameters
Step 4: Customize
You can modify any part of the AI-generated strategy before saving:
Adjust indicator parameters
Add or remove conditions
Change risk settings
Modify stop loss / take profit levels
Step 5: Save and Backtest
Click Save Strategy
Run a backtest to validate (see Backtesting Guide)
Activate only if backtest results are satisfactory
Example Prompts
"Conservative BTC long strategy using RSI"
RSI < 30 entry, RSI > 60 exit, 1% risk, 5x leverage, tight stop
"Aggressive ETH scalping with MACD"
MACD crossover entry, quick take profit (2%), higher risk (5%), 15x leverage
"Bollinger Band breakout strategy for SOL"
Price breaks above upper band, ATR-based stop, 3% risk
"Multi-indicator BTC strategy with trend filter"
SMA 200 trend filter + RSI + MACD confluence entry
Limitations
AI generates a starting point — always review and adjust before activating
AI may not account for current market conditions
Complex multi-timeframe strategies may need manual refinement
Always backtest AI-generated strategies before using real money
Tips
Be specific about risk: Tell the AI your risk tolerance (conservative, moderate, aggressive)
Mention indicators: If you have preferences, mention them
Specify the asset: Different assets may need different parameters
Iterate: Generate multiple versions with different prompts and compare backtests
