What is HyperSync?
HyperSync is an automated trading and copy trading platform built for Hyperliquid. It lets you copy top traders, build automated strategies, and execute TradingView alerts — all with built-in risk management.
Is HyperSync free?
Check the HyperSync website for the latest pricing and plan details. The platform may collect small trading fees through Hyperliquid's builder code system.
What exchanges does HyperSync support?
HyperSync is exclusively built for Hyperliquid. It is not a multi-exchange platform — this focus enables deep integration and the best possible performance.
Can HyperSync withdraw my funds?
No. HyperSync only requires trading permissions. It cannot access, transfer, or withdraw your funds. You can verify this when creating your API key on Hyperliquid.
Is my data safe?
Your API keys are encrypted before storage. Your account data is completely isolated from other users. HyperSync uses industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
How does risk normalization work?
Instead of copying dollar amounts, HyperSync copies the risk percentage. If a leader risks 5% of their portfolio, you'll risk 5% of yours. See How Risk Normalization Works.
Can I follow multiple leaders?
Yes. Each leader has independent settings (risk multiplier, leverage cap, allocation). You can follow as many leaders as you want.
What happens if a leader gets liquidated?
Your position won't necessarily be liquidated because HyperSync applies a liquidation safety buffer (25% by default). Your position sizing is independent of the leader's dollar amounts.
Do I need to be online for copy trading to work?
No. Copy trading runs 24/7 on the server. As long as HyperSync is running, trades are copied automatically — even while you sleep.
What if I unfollow a leader?
Unfollowing stops new trades from being copied. Existing positions remain open — you must close them manually if desired.
Strategy Builder
How often are strategies evaluated?
Every 60 seconds by default. This means your entry/exit conditions are checked once per minute.
Can I run multiple strategies simultaneously?
Yes. Each strategy operates independently with its own conditions, risk parameters, and wallet assignment.
What happens if two strategies conflict?
Each strategy is independent. If one wants to go long and another wants to go short on the same asset, both trades will be submitted. The Risk Engine validates each one separately.
Does the AI strategy generator work well?
The AI generates a solid starting point based on your description. However, you should always review the generated strategy, adjust parameters as needed, and backtest before activating.
TradingView Signals
Do I need a paid TradingView account?
Yes. Webhook URLs require a paid TradingView plan (Plus or higher). The free plan doesn't support webhook alerts.
How fast are signals processed?
Typically within 1-5 seconds from when TradingView fires the alert to when the trade executes on Hyperliquid.
Can I use any Pine Script indicator?
Yes. Any Pine Script that generates alerts can send signals to HyperSync. The script just needs to include the correct JSON payload format. See Pine Script Examples.
Why didn't my signal execute?
Check the Signals page for the signal status. Common reasons:
No matching subscription (check your filters)
Confidence below your threshold
Risk Engine rejected the trade (check Risk Dashboard)
Wallet not connected or insufficient margin
How accurate are backtests?
Backtests use real historical Hyperliquid candle data and include trading fees. They can optionally include funding rates. However, they cannot perfectly account for slippage or real-time liquidity conditions.
Why don't my live results match the backtest?
Common reasons:
Slippage: Real market execution differs from theoretical fills
Timing: Strategy evaluation happens every 60 seconds, not at exact bar close
Market impact: Your trades may move the price slightly
Overfitting: The strategy was optimized too closely on historical data
Risk Management
What if the Risk Engine rejects my trade?
Rejected trades are logged in the Risk Dashboard with a reason. Common reasons: insufficient margin, leverage cap exceeded, daily loss limit reached. You can adjust your risk settings to be more permissive.
Can I disable the Risk Engine?
No. The Risk Engine is a core safety feature and cannot be bypassed. You can adjust the parameters to be more permissive, but validation always runs.
What does Emergency Halt do?
It immediately stops all automated trading (copy trading, strategies, signals). Existing positions are NOT closed automatically. See Emergency Controls.
Account & Wallets
Can I connect multiple wallets?
Yes. You can connect as many Hyperliquid wallets as you want and assign them to different features.
What happens if I delete a wallet from HyperSync?
Your funds on Hyperliquid are unaffected. Deleting a wallet from HyperSync simply removes HyperSync's ability to trade on that wallet. Your API key on Hyperliquid continues to exist until you revoke it.
How do I switch from testnet to mainnet?
Connect a mainnet wallet instead of (or in addition to) your testnet wallet. Then assign the mainnet wallet to your copy trading, strategies, or signal subscriptions.
